The Nursery

Well, here is our Jungle Babies Nursery. On the wall opposite the one you see, we have painted a big palm tree! It's cozy to sit in the rocking chair that my mom rocked me in... and read a book by our imagined jungle. Even though Anja is not quite into books. :) Andrew and I are reliving our own childhoods in the meantime!

The Latest with Baby Anja

Anja is really starting to change these last few weeks! In the last week, she has been bringing toys and blankets to her mouth. At 5am the other morning, she took my finger to her mouth and started sucking like crazy as if to say, "HELLO! I am hungry here!"

She is trying to laugh... and really wants to talk. In the meantime, she uses her eyebrows in the cutest way!

I am transitioning into a "relief" position at work, and am excited to be with her more during the day. It's hard to balance working from home and play time, isn't it?! Well, we hope you all are well and enjoying the fall!

Anja loves her daddy. As many nights as Anja and Andrew are found dozing on the couch, I cant seem to stop taking pics...'cuz it's so darn CUTE! She's a total daddy girl and is just starting to get excited when she sees him. She will be 11 weeks tomorrow. I'm hoping tonight is the "sleep through the night" night.... We did the bedtinme ritual and she's cozzied up in her swaddle wrap. I'm pretty sure she wont be waking up cuz she's cold!
